Renegade Bookbinding Guild: this is the fanbinding group where I first got started! It's grown since I first joined, but if big discord servers don't turn you off I highly recommend checking it out, Renegade is full of very helpful people. There are also some beginner's guides and resources to get started on the website.
DAS Bookbinding: youtube channel with a lot of in-depth video tutorials for various binding styles, including the "standard" case binding.

Weaver's Knot: my favorite photo tutorial for the slipknot method of tying a weaver's knot (with this method, you only have to manipulate one of the threads, so you can control exactly where it's placed on the other one).
